Pom Pom Xenia Frag - Xenia sp. (ORA)
Details
Pom Pom Xenia colonies, much like their Pulsing Xenia cousins, grow rapidly and can dominate an aquarium quickly under ideal conditions. Pom Pom Xenia colonies have shorter, thicker "stalks" than the traditional Pulsing Xenia and usually will have a bushier appearance as a result.
Like other Xenia varieties, Pom Pom Xenia grows best with moderate to high lighting and moderate to strong water flow. They should have plenty of room to expand and are one of the most popular corals for home propagation. While established colonies are usually very hardy and fast growing, Xenia can be sensitive to shipping stress and is most vulnerable during shipping and acclimation.
ORA Frags are propagated by Oceans, Reefs & Aquariums, the largest marine ornamental fish hatchery in the world. They continuously develop new frags and many are available in very limited quantities. We are proud to offer ORA's corals as part of our coral frag collection.
