Details

Algaefix effectively controls green water, algae blooms and blanketweed. This is a fish and plant safe algaecide that keeps pond and water gardens clear by controlling "green water"; also effective as a preventative measure. When using this product during the summer months, adequate aeration is required. Do not shut pond pumps and aeration devices off at night. Do not use with crustaceans, including crabs, shrimp, freshwater shrimp and freshwater lobsters.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient: Poly[oxyethylene(dimethylimino)ethylene(dimethyliminio)ethylene dichloride]: 4.50%
Other ingredients: 95.50%

Instructions

Add 14 drops for each 10 U.S. gallons or 1 teaspoonful (5ml) for each 50 U.S. gallons of water. Repeat dose every three days until algae is controlled. Siphon or scrape dead algae from tank. Once algal growth is under control, add one dose per week. Do not use with freshwater crustaceans, inc. shrimp, crabs, and lobsters.

Algaefix Tried

The first I remember knowing was a ton of algae growing, and a young'uns dream of crystal clear tanks. On a freight train leaving town, not knowing where I'm bound, no one could clear those tanks til Algaefix tried. <BR><br>One and only rebel child, overfed those fish something wild, my Mama seemed to know what lay in store. Despite all my aquatics learning, towards the bad I kept on turning, till Mama couldn't stand the algae anymore. <BR><br>And I turned 21 in a cloud of hazy green, no one could steer me right but Mama tried, Mama tried, Mama tried to raise me better but overfeeding I cried, that leaves only me to blame til Algaefix tried.
