Betta Pebbles Substrate - 3 lb

The only thing I like about this substrate is the pebble size. I thought I'd like the gray color, but it's darker when wet. The worst drawback is how difficult it is to rinse thoroughly. I followed the instructions and rinsed the substrate until the water ran clear, then gently stirred it, rinsed more, and repeated a couple of times until I saw only clear water. When I put the substrate in the fish tank and added water, I saw substantial gray haze float out of the gravel. I ran the aquarium's filter hoping it was clear the haze, but three hours later the haze hadn't decreased. I drained the tank and set it up with a different substrate that looks richer when wet and rinsed easily (Spectrastone Walnut).
