Chemi-Pure Blue Aquarium Filter Media - 11 oz.

Chemi-Pure Blue aquarium filter media is a superior performance blend of the highest grade low dust activated carbons and premium synthetic ion exchange resins.

The Blue blend greatly reduces the amount of organic compounds, odors, phenols, toxins, medications, dissolved metals, phosphates and silicates in your aquarium water. Use increases ORP/redox potential and stabilizes pH, leading to a healthier aquarium with clearer water.

Chemi-Pure is a safe, effective filter media for creating crystal clear aquarium water, reduces water changes, makes fish healthier, and allows corals and invertebrates to acclimate more quickly and thrive in their aquarium environment. Chemi-pure has no effect on beneficial biological organisms and can remove copper from medication dosage, along with other toxic heavy metals.

Chemi-pure Blue is designed for use with saltwater and reef aquariums, but can be used with freshwater African Cichlid aquariums. Not recommended for use in standard freshwater aquariums.

Keep Chemi-Pure package sealed until ready for use. Do not remove resin from bag. Rinse lightly and place bag in filter and flatten out as much as possible.
