Details

The fascinating GloFish has been genetically altered to give off a bright neon glow. The genes of this Zebra Danio have been altered with the genes of a certain anemone that features the illuminescence, and that is how the GloFish came about!

The Cosmic Blue GloFish has a steely blue color with faint silver-gold horizontal stripes and a golden-orange patch on top of its head.

The GloFish is just as hardy as a regular Zebra Danio and also features the same bluish striping. They are an active fish that will hang out around mid-water or upper water level. They are great for community tanks. Feed them a varied diet of flake, small pellet, and occasional small-sized frozen food.

The glowing coloration of the GloFish will not fade or change - it is within their genetic structure and will actually be passed on to their offspring should they spawn. To see them "glow" at their best, keep under blue "actinic" lighting. The colors will be bright under white lighting but will not "glow" as brightly.

DOA

Dead on Arrival. Nothing left of fish but small pieces. Could only tell it was this fish because it was only color missing from my order.

Cosmic Blue Danio

This fish is pretty under regular light and isn't really a glo fish, this color does not glow or stand out under a glo light. Danios are not as hardy as tetras, they need to be acclimated for a longer period and your water parameters should be in great condition for them to survive the first few days.
