Bicolor Goatfish have a deep red to almost purple color covering the front half of the body with 2 white stripes running from the nose towards the tail. The back half of the body is bright white with a yellow patch and a black spot below the rear dorsal fin.

Goatfish are generally peaceful fish that will get along well with all community fish. They need to be provided with large open areas in the tank so that they can forage through the substrate looking for food. Bicolor Goatfish will generally accept most frozen meaty foods.
