Magniflow canisters keep your water clean and clear with their dynamic Stack N' Flo Filter Tray design. The layered tray design makes set up and maintenance a breeze, while covering all three stages of filtration:
- Mechanical Filtration: Filter Foam Pads and Water Polishing Pads help remove large waste and uneaten food, along with small particles, keeping your water cleaner and clearer than ever!
- Chemical Filtration: Black Diamond Carbon quickly and effectively removes odors, discoloration and dissolved impurities
- Biological Filtration: Bio-Filter Balls and Ceramic Rings provide surface area for ammonia and nitrite reducing natural bacteria
Setup and Maintenance is simple. Once assembled your canister starts up with a simple touch of the Quick Prime Button. When your canister needs cleaning, simply flip the Quick Release valve block and water is sealed in the inlet/outlet tubes. No more leaky messes!

New?
by Mike
I just had my C-360 replaced with this new one. Overall I think the old one is better built. The new C-360 is also about one inch longer giving me less space to do the service on the filter. Also has some air issues. Checked everything, not sure where this air is coming from. That's what happen to the older one. Air noise, and then it started to leak.
360 canister filter

I've had 2 of these filters and after about 6 months they leaked! Lost so much water due to this I'm still looking for a better replacement. I'm now using an aqua clear hang on util I find something this is tough with a 90 gallon tank
Worst filter ever made!
by sarah
This is truly the worst filter I've ever had for my 55 gal tank. This was a replacement for a hang on filter which was discontinued. This leaked every single time I changed the media. Took forever to prime and lost maybe half the tank worth of water with each changed. Needed the entire household worth of towels for the floor till it primed and then it would suddenly conk out. I had the same issue with the second one I purchased. Would never recommend even as a last resort. Easier and better to use an over the tank filter that one has to manually rinse out and change the bags in it!
Great Filter, just get the silicone O ring.
by Robert Cervilla
Great filter once you get the better silicone O ring. Much more media surface area which makes it do a better job than the Fluval. Less expensive too.
leaks
by Blaine
This filter ran fine for a month. After opening it to clean it the filter now leaks where the 2 halves come together. The o-ring is undamaged and I tried using lubricant with no luck. Contacting Marineland for some assistance has been unsuccessful so far. Seems a lot of people have this issue with this filter. I should have done my research before buying.
