Penguin 350 Bio-Wheel Power Filter - Up to 75 gal.

On the box it says quiet operation but it is the worst noise maker I have ever had, not happy at all with this product.

This filter is real good compared to the others i have purchased. It will only be noicy if u have water below the the suction tube. other than that a real good filter

This filter clears up water very good and will only be too loud if water level is low. Only complaint is that its hard to clean, but overall a good buy.

I've had dozens of filters over the years. I've never replaced its impeller and its easy to disassemble and clean. Easily the quietest if used properly.

I have many different filters over the years. I have used this one for over a year. It isn't as loud when the water level is kept up high, but it is the noisiest filtration system I have ever owned. It is a pain to clean too. I would never buy this brand again and can't wait until this one dies so I can replace it.

Cheaper to buy a new filter from you than to replace 2 wheels OTC. Worth the money. Can be very loud water level drops. Clear water maker.

Great at filtering, but noisey even when the water level is high. I replaced an older model 300 and that one was quieter than this new one.

I have always used the Aquaclear filters, 70 and 110, in my world they are the best. But, I just bought a used 56 gallon column tank with this filter on it. Right away I was going to replace it, but, when I used this and see how it keeps my tank crystal clear and that I can buy three of these for the price of one Aquaclear. DO THE MATH, LOL. I'm liking htis filter, and being on SS only, this fits my budget.

I've used these bio wheel units for years. The only "noise" I hear is the water trickling over the wheels. This can be considered a pleasant calming sound. You cannot hear the pump/motor itself.

Noisey when new quite after the wheels are not water repelant...

It does the job. I love the water sound but sometimes it has a humming noise. We have adjusted the unit many ways but can't seem to get it not to hum loudly.

I replaced my old Eclipse 3 System with the Penguin 350 its really powerful and has the water crystal clear the sound is getting more quite as the weeks go by

I use on this filter the Marineland Refillable Media Cartridges for my Penguin200B Filter. No more size C throwaway filters. Just add carbon and ammo cheps to one and small Ceramic Rings to the other one. I also use a blue felt pad in the front. The water is Crystal Clear and I haven't changed the water in 3 months. My Community Tank has over 30 small fish and they never die. The secret is the Refillable Cartridges from Marineland. I'm a professional aquarist.

Iv owned this filter for two years. Last week was the first time I took it off and gave it a real good cleaning. it didn't need it but I was bored over the weekend and figured I should. This filer is a beast never had a problem at all. It does have slight Humm but even in my living room you get used to it and is not bothersome. I cut open the filters and refill them myself a few times before tossing, to save $. A+ in my book would gladly buy again.

I have 6 of them they've been going strong for 9 years now just the bi monthly cleaning and they do great 👍
